Tutoring Services at UW-Green Bay

Tutoring Services offers free academic support in a variety of subjects each semester. Study Group Leaders will offer group support. Peer Tutors will offer one-on-one assistance in some limited subjects. These students are subject area experts who have successfully completed the course and who are able to answer questions, review course material, help prepare for exams, guide discussion and provide tips on study strategies.

Q. Who can use Tutoring Services?
A. All undergraduates currently enrolled for credit at UW-Green Bay.

Q. Is there a cost for tutoring?
A. No, it is free.

Q. What kind of tutoring will I receive?
A. Tutoring Services primarily uses the study group model for tutoring. Some individual peer tutoring sessions will be available.

Q. What is peer tutoring?
A. Peer tutoring is a way to learn through subject area experts who are students just like you, but have successfully completed the course material, usually with the same instructor. They have received additional training to help you succeed.

Q. Where will tutoring take place?
A. Tutoring will occur in various locations on campus, generally in classroom space. The Tutoring Services website will list locations for Study Group offerings.

Q. Where can I find more information on Tutoring Services?
